Trip to Ulu Kenyana Mukah

Ulu Kenyana? It doesn't ring bell to anyone. An isolated place in one of Sungai Mukah tributaries is believed as a breeding place for Arawana. Ya..arawana species...especially the gold one..may attract interest of arawana lovers. But the arawana here is a protected species.
The dark water river in Kenyana believed to be the breeding ground for various species of fish

Knowing the potential of this area, the government is developing this area into tourist attraction. The project includes the long belian plankwork along the river, going through the "jungle".

A portion of the belian plankwork.
